On Wednesday night the 37^th Annual Cross Country Meet was held at Warrick Park.  The weather was cold and windy but the runners from West Vincent were on fire.  From the five elementary schools, 147 students came out for some fun and exercise.  West Vincent had 41 students running. 

For the fourth grade girls Taylor Giandonato came in 2^nd place with an outstanding time of 7:38.  Carly Jennion, Michelle Fogwell, and Bridget Guinan finished together in 4^th, 11^th, and 14^th place respectfully while for the fifth grade girls Jacqueline Ferrara ran hard to a 5^th place finish with a time of 7:33.  Sarah Fogwell, Rachel Sharpe, Jane Lasak, and Samantha Ackerman finished in 9^th, 12^th, 13^th, and 15^th place as well. 

Greg Zimmerman completed the race in 1^st place with a lightening fast time of 6:36 while Michael Mullen finished 5th for the fourth grade boys.  To round out an exciting night for West Vincent, Andrew Siana ran a 6:48 just beating out Austin Koury for 5^th place while Quin Poley, Michael Giandonato, and Tyler Stonebraker completed the 5^th grade boys race in 8^th, 10^th, and 14^th place.
