Mrs. Hengst's class wins a pizza party, which is scheduled for Friday, March 19. They are also responsible for picking the color of wig Mrs. Guy will wear to school because WVES raised more than $500.

Each teacher received a gift certificate to the Book Fair equal to their class donations.

Scholastic will match West Vincent's total donation amount with book donations to three non-profit organizations: Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc., National Center for Family Literacy and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. These organizations are dedicated to helping kids and families in need.

One for Books Campaign

Announcing our Spring Book Fair's
One for Books Campaign
Tuesday, Feb 23 - Tuesday, March 9
The class with the most donations wins a pizza party !
and if we raise $500, Mrs. Guy will once again wear a wig !

What is One for Books?

Scholastic will match our school's total donation amount with book donations to three non-profit organizations dedicated to helping kids and families in  need.  They include:  Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc., National Center for Family Literacy and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.

Please help us meet our campaign goal by donating just $1 between Tuesday, February 23 and Tuesday, March 9.  We appreciate any amount and happily accept loose change.  Send your donation in an envelope marked "One for Books" and your child's teacher will add it to their classroom's donation container.  At the end of the campaign, each teacher will pick out books in an amount equal to their class donations.  Thank you for your support.
