West Vincent Elementary School PTA

Collections
Our PTA has several collections that are earning money for our school, two of them being Box Tops for Education and ink and toner cartridges.  A roller cart has been placed in the West Vincent school office. There is a different drawer labeled for each collection.  Please drop off your items in the proper drawer.  Thank you!

Box Tops For Education :

Save all your "Box Tops for Education" labels on the products you purchase.  It's a great source of income for our school.  In addition to the school office drop off site, Jen Resnick has also left an envelope in the Birchunville post office for you do drop off your box tops!

Terracyle Program Comes to West Vincent!

The PTA is collecting clean, empty CapriSun, Honest Kids, Kool-Aid, and generic brand drink pouches. By collecting these, the PTA will receive 2 cents per pouch, and the pouches will be diverted from landfills.

We will send these to TerraCycle, Inc., a company which will turn the pouches into bags, pencil pouches, folders, and more. Their products are available on their website at terracycle.net.

It's important that only empty pouches without straws are collected. We are not collecting other types of beverage containers such as bottles or juice boxes. We have a collection bin at school. If collected at home, pouches should be cut at the top seam, rinsed, and placed in a sealed gallon sized bag.

Volunteers are needed to help sort the recyclables collected.   Please email Heather Delong if interested in helping.

Earn money for the school by using your TARGET Visa card:

Use your Target Red card for purchases and the school can get a 1 % donation from Target.  Currently we only have one family signed up to take advantage of this program of FREE MONEY for our school.  We have earned $69.64 so far.  Help us all out and sign up now.  Don't forget to designate our school when you sign up.
