Welcome to the West Vincent Elementary School PTA website!

The PTA Executive Board has been hard at work since May planning our first year in our new school.  We are all excited to be working together and look forward to working with all of you who can volunteer to help.  There will be many opportunities to help throughout the school year so please complete the Volunteer Form when your child brings it home.  You may also contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Kathleen DeAnna at k.deanna@verizon.net to be added to any of our committees (all committees with descriptions are listed on this website).

One of our main goals is to communicate effectively with our membership while not wasting paper.  This website will be our main source of communication so please check it frequently.  We will eventually have a place in the building where we can post hard copy of our info as well. 

This website is a PTA only website and while we will provide a hotlink to the OJR website, the OJR website is a separate entity.  For OJR district information please check that website.  We will provide information for our school only.

If you represent a group such a Girl Scouts, community league sports, etc. you may submit your information to us and we will work with you to have your information posted.  The OJR district no longer allows “flyering” in the district so we will not be distributing hard copy materials to the children. 

We will periodically do a newsletter which will actually be a page on our website.  This will be distributed in hard copy only when it is necessary to do so, again, we are trying to save paper and reduce the amount of “stuff” that lands on your kitchen table.
