Master Minds Game Club

2017-2018 Master Minds Chairs | Scott Casey and Jay Pederson

Logic games allow kids to develop concentration, critical thinking, abstract reasoning, problem solving, pattern recognition, strategic planning, creativity, analysis, synthesis, evaluation & more!  This club will aid in teaching kids that learning HOW to solve a problem is more important than learning the solution to any particular problem.

A variety of games will be played, including chess, Othello, Qwirkle, Risk, Scrabble, Laser KHET 2.0, Forbidden Desert and more.  No prior exposure to the games is necessary, but a willingness to learn is a must!

  • Master Minds is open to students in grades 4-6.
  • It takes place on Thursdays from 3:10pm - 4:30pm.
  • There will be a 6-week session.

Dates for this session are: November 6, 13, 27, December 4, 11, and 18.
--> Please check your calendars to make sure there are no conflicts with these dates.
