You can choose what information is to be published - email, phone numbers, address, or all of it! It is a very handy tool and works well when as many families as possible participate. Information is due on Friday, September 15, 2017.
[The deadline has passed for entering your info.]
Mark your calendars so that you can attend our first PTA Meeting of the school year - Monday, September 18, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the school library.
If you missed purchasing Spirit Wear at the Back to School Bash, there is still an opportunity to do so. The PTA will have spirit wear available for purchase during the Back to School nights this week. In addition, we are hosting an online spirit wear sale, that offers extended sizes and styles, including long sleeve tees and hoodie sweatshirts! The online sale is available 9/8-9/22. No orders will be accepted after 9/22. Orders will be delivered to the classroom at the beginning of October. Please visit http://www.valleyprint.co/west-vincent-elementary/ to place your order. Monday is Day 4.
Have a great week!
Thank you for your interest in the West Vincent Family Directory. This submission deadline for the 2017-2018 Directory has passed.
Directories will be distributed in early October, one per family.
Our WV Spiritwear sells out quickly and many people want more shirts in more sizes. We are happy to announce that we have more of our popular spirit wear available via online purchase. As a bonus, we have added adult sizes so family and teachers can show WV spirit AND additional items including long sleeve T-shirts and sweatshirts. However, these items will only be available for a limited time, so order quickly.
Orders will only be accepted from now until Friday, September 22. Orders placed during that time will be delivered directly to students classes in early October.
Order between 9/8 - 9/22. Orders will not be accepted after 9/22.

The West Vincent Elementary PTA will host the first-ever Wildcat Walk-a-Thon on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 (rain date is October 20th). This event combines fitness, fun and fundraising to encourage kids to help raise money to support the many programs they and their families enjoy throughout the school year, including assemblies, field trips, Back to School Bash, family bingo & art nights, All Pro Dad’s breakfasts, publishing center, books for classrooms and our talent show (just to name a few).
On the day of the event, all West Vincent students and staff will walk outside for 30 minutes. They will be pumped up by music from a DJ, inspired to keep moving by motivational signs and treated to some fun surprises. The student from each grade, who has raised the most money by the day of the event, will be invited to lead the walk and hold the official Wildcat Walk-a-Thon banner with our mascot, Willie the Wildcat. All walk participants will be eligible to win prizes. A week after the walk, various raffle prizes will be awarded, and the top overall fundraiser and top fundraising class, will be awarded special prizes. Of course, all students are winners because the funds raised during this event, allow for more programs at our school.
Our goal is to raise $15,000. If our stretch goal of $20,000 is achieved, an entire cooler of icy sports drink will be dumped on Mr. Smith's head!
