Reflections Theme Search

Every year, National PTA judges five entries from every state to vote on the next Reflections theme.

The student whose theme is selected on the National level is awarded $100.

All submissions must be postmarked by December 1, 2017 and sent to our PA PTA State Office 4804 Derry Street Harrisburg, PA 17111.

All entries are judged at the state level and the top five are submitted to National PTA.

Work on a Reflections Art Project over the summer!

Don't forget, students can begin a project for the Reflections Art Contest at any time! Entries are collected in the fall, usually at the end of October. Getting back to school often is a hectic time, so taking the time over the summer working on the arts is a nice way to complete an entry.

Official entry forms will be posted when they are provided by the Pennsylvania PTA, but that shouldn't stop someone from working on the project!

The theme is Within Reach

More information can be found on the Reflections tab on our website or by clicking here.

Please contact Lyn Noon with any questions.

Congratulations Reflections Art Contest Winners!

Congratulations to the 2016-2017 Reflections Art Contest Winners.  The theme was What's Your Story?

Judging takes place first at a local level. The top 5 winners in each category then move on to a regional level of judging. From there, winners move on to the state level for judging.  And winners in the state go on for national judging.

Scholastic Book Fair - May 15-19

The Spring Book Fair will be held  on Monday, May 15 - Friday, May 19

WVE love to read! Books at the book fair are grouped by age or grade level to make it easy to shop.

This spring, as we've done in the past, each class will get to browse the book fair and create a shopping list, and then come back on a different day to purchase items.

We are looking for some help during the fair to check out students and to keep the fair tidy. Click here to secure your spot.  We appreciate your time!
