The next PTA Meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 10th. The meeting will begin at 5:30 (instead of the usual 6:30 start time) because of the Science Fair on the same night. The meeting will take place in the WVES Library.

Wednesday evening is our Talent Show Preview Night! Please register your act online, print and complete a permission slip by Wednesday. Acts are limited to a maximum of 2 minutes. Please bring your edited music (if using) and signed permission slip to Preview Night. Your act doesn't have to be perfect (just be sure you're ready by Rehearsal Night!) Preview Night is broken down by grade to respect all parents' evening commitments: K-3 show up between 5:30-6:30; 4-6 show up between 6:30-7:30 pm at WVES. The attached packet is for assistance and contains important times and act requirements (visit webpage for info). Please consider making a food donation or donating your time on our signup

West Vincent Elementary School has a very special upcoming event: Understanding Children and Their Social Emotional Wellbeing, presented by nationally recognized speakers Thom Stecher and Alex Fizz. They will discuss positive behaviors including trust, respect, and responsibility and will further our social emotional learning as families, a school, and a community. Visit our website for more info!

Please join us for our West Vincent Elementary School Family Arts Night on Friday, January 27, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in our auditorium.  Hop Toad Studio will lead us in a canvas painting project that will create a family masterpiece!  This event is open to all West Vincent families, but space is limited. Please register your family's spot here.

Our annual Science Fair for 4th, 5th and 6th grade students is Tuesday, January 10th. Judging will take place during the school day. Families are encouraged to visit our Science Fair Open House Tuesday night from 6:30-7:30 pm. Participants will receive their certificates, their judges' feedback cards and their science fair medals. The winners from each grade level will be announced at the Open House. All participants are strongly encouraged to attend the Open House showcasing our students' interests in the sciences. Tri-fold boards and student logbooks should be taken home after the event.
