What are the benefits of joining the PTA?
There’s no better way to find out what’s happening in your child's school. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, build rapport, and discuss issues that are on your mind. We welome and encourage the sharing of ideas, concerns, and experiences. PTA can also be a way for you to more effectively influence change at your child’s school. And, by volunteering with your PTA, you put your skills and hobbies to use for a noble cause: supporting the development and growth of your child and all children in the community!
West Vincent PTA members automatically become members of National PTA. Your PTA Membership Card will provide access to members-only discounts and resources through PTA.org. All members, parents and staff are welcome at monthly PTA meetings.

What are some examples of PTA activities?
Our PTA has helped to foster a welcoming environment in the schools by providing programs including:
After-school programs such as Science Explorers
An annual philanthropic gift to the school
School assemblies
Family events like the Back-to-School Bash, bingo nights, family art nights, Spring Spectacular, and West Vincent’s Got Talent
Educational programs such as the All Pro Dad breakfasts and Scholastic Book Fairs
Student activities and clubs including the Reflections art contest and Debate Club

Who can join the West Vincent PTA?
Everyone can join the PTA! PTA membership is open to anyone who cares about the education, health, and welfare of West Vincent's children.
What are the membership fees?
Individual Membership:
$7.50 ($7 membership + 50¢ credit card fee)
Couples Membership:
$15 ($14 memberships + $1 credit card fee)
How do I become a member?
Complete the online application form below! Or if you prefer, you may print out this PTA Membership Application [pdf], attach a check for payment and send it into the school office. You may also join and pay at the Back to School Bash, Meet the Teachers Night or any meeting of the PTA.
